While on my road trip to Virginia one of my stops was to Richmond, VA. On Libbie Ave. there is an abundance of quaint little shops. Amongst the shops was one called Gearhart's Fine Chocolates. They are know and remembered for their interesting flavor combinations and great textures. When hearing the explanation of how the chocolates are actually made I was amazed at how much work went into one of these fabulous creations. Not alot of people can be in the kitchen while these little tidbits are made, because the temperature of the room must not get too hot since they are made individually and by hand. Their chocolates are made with the finest Venezuelan Cacao. But, not only are the chocolates made with the finest of ingredients, but the presentation is just as fine. Each morsel is as a work of art and the packaging is simple yet elegant. I recommend the Earl Grey chocolate. It is a perfect blend of chocolate and Earl Grey tea. Mmmmm!
The company has two locations one in Richmond and one in Charlottesville. And yes, they do deliver! http://gearhartschocolates.com/
